‘Paranormal Activity 4’ Blu-ray release date announced

Right after January’s disturbing credit card bills come in showing all the Christmas damage we inflicted on our bank accounts (I really bought three copies of Who’s The Boss? Season 3?), Paramount Home Media will be delivering another jolt of horror: Paranormal Activity 4 on Blu-ray. Debuting January 29, the Blu-ray/DVD/UltaViolet/Digital Copy Combo Pack will feature “The Recovered Files”, nearly 30 minutes of “found footage” not shown in theaters. The film’s plot centers on the evil surrounding Katie and her nephew Hunter as a new family begins experiencing unexplained events that quickly turn deadly. Paranormal Activity 4 will arrive in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital, Portuguese 5.1 Dolby Digital and subtitles in all those languages as well. Amazon has the film up for pre-order at $19.99.
