‘Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome’ UNRATED Blu-ray release date

Battlestar-Galactica-Blood-and-Chrome-Blu-ray UNRATEDUniversal Studios has announced the release date for Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome Unrated Edition will be Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. The Blu-ray Combo Pack will include BD, DVD, Digital Copy and UltraViolet formats of the film, so you can virtually watch it anywhere. Included in the Blu-ray Combo Pack are seven exclusive deleted scenes (the single Blu-ray and DVD only contain six), as well as production featurette “Blood & Chrome Visual Effects.” The Blu-ray is formatted in 1080p with 1.78:1 widescreen aspect ratio and 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio. In a non-traditional release, the 10-episode series will premiere tomorrow, Nov. 9, on the Machinima Prime channel on YouTube. The series will run through February, 2013, followed by a two-hour movie premiere on Syfy. Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome stars Luke Pasqualino as a young William Adama in the tenth year of the First Cylon War. The series serves as a prequel to the Battlestar Galactica series.
