Here’s what’s new on Blu-ray, DVD and UltraViolet this week. Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Season Four is now available on Blu-ray and DVD. The three-disc set (four-disc DVD) from Warner Home Video includes all 22 episodes of the animated series seen on Cartoon Network. Blade Runner (30th Anniversary Collector’s Edition) hits shelves on Blu-ray Disc and contains five different cuts of the film (including the rare workprint feature edition), as well as boasting a new 5.1 Dolby Digital audio track. The anniversary edition is also available in a four-Disc Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet Combo Pack. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is our Blu-ray 3D pick of the week. The 2012 film stars Benjamin Walker as vampire hunter Abraham Lincoln (who also happens to be the 16th President of the United States) in a fun and visually exciting horror/fantasy film.
Disney’s Secret of the Wings is another 3D Blu-ray release of this week. The Four-Disc Combo includes a Blu-ray 3d, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Copy. And, this year’s comedy Magic Mike hits shelves on Blu-ray as a Combo pack that includes Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy and UltraViolet.
