Skype app now available for PlayStation Vita

If you’ve got a portable PlayStation Vita you can now download an app to run Skype. The app lets you use Skype’s voice and video chat features, and supports both the front and rear cameras of the Vita. The best part about the app though is that you can run it in the background, letting you have an “open line” so to speak while you play Vita games. And, the Skype app will automatically pause your game so you can take the call — you just press the PS button and accept the Skype call. The free app from Skype runs on both 3G and WiFi networks, and is available to download today from the PlayStation Store.
