Netflix has announced the launch of a new original series called Lilyhammer which will be available to watch instantly on internet connected devices. Starring Steven Van Zandt (The Sopranos), the series is set in Norway where x-gangster Frank “The Fixer” Tagliano has been relocated as part of the witness protection program.

Lilyhammer will premiere on February 6, 2012 in the USA, Canada & Latin America. Breaking traditional episode scheduling, all eight of the first season episodes will be available to watch immediately.
