‘Hell on Wheels’ will get second season on AMC

Hell on Wheels has picked up a second season on AMC Networks. The TV drama about an encampment during the construction of the first transcontinental railroad in 1865 first premiered on November 6, 2011 with about 4.4 million viewers. The show’s finale is scheduled to air on January 15. 2012. Hell on Wheels is broadcast in standard-definition 480i and high-definition 1080i resolution. AMC is available in HD on DirectTV (Channel 254), Dish Network (Channel 130), Verizon FiOS (Channel 731), AT&T U-verse (Channel 1795), and most cable TV providers. Check your local listings for channel availability.
