Colorado Mountain Communities get Comcast On Demand

Comcast has announced expansion of their fiber optic network to enable On Demand service to Colorado Mountain Communites including Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Silverthorne. The service will provide access to over 20,000 video-on-demand choices ranging from movies, music, news, sports and instructional programming.

“ON DEMAND gives viewers the freedom to enjoy more viewing options than ever before, from today’s hottest movies and music to informative and instructional programming, from the latest news and sports to classic entertainment for the whole family,” said Mike Trueblood, Area Vice President for the mountain communities

Much of the On Demand content (including programming from TNT, USA Network, ESPN, Comedy Central, The Ski Channel, CNN, Golf Channel, Cartoon Network, TV One and Discovery) is available at no additional charge for Comcast digital customers.

Comcast is also completing a transition to digital transmissions in the mountain area which should be finished by the end of this month.
