Not a huge week for blockbuster movies on Blu-ray Disc (although the boys from Jackass would argue that). But, there are a few movies that make up for the lack of quantity. Inside Job is one of them. The documentary examines the global financial crisis of 2008, deregulation in the US, and the players revolving around a $20 trillion meltdown. The film was directed by Charles Ferguson (No End in Sight), narrated by Matt Damon (The Bourne Trilogy), and won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature (2010).
Other notable titles this week include the television series The Walking Dead: Season One, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, The Next Three Days (Starring Liam Neeson and Russell Crowe), and 1981’s Excalibur (Starring Liam Neeson, Patrick Stewart, Gabriel Byrne and Nigel Terry). And, if you’re a Green Bay Packers fan you’ll want to pick up NFL Super Bowl XLV on Blu-ray Disc.
