Sony takes $100 of HD camcorder with 32GB Flash Memory

Sony is taking $100 off its CX350V HD camcorder that records 1920 x 1080 high-definition video to 32GB of internal Flash memory. The camera also features an “Exmor R” CMOS sensor, wide-angle G Lens, 12X optical zoom, Direct Copy, built-in GPS receiver. The HDR-CX350V which normally sells for $899 is now available for $799 until July 17, 2010.

Camera Highlights

Boasting a compact design, the HDR-CX350V is perfect for capturing life’s moments anytime, anywhere. Record stunning 1920 x 1080 high-definition video2 and 7-megapixel still images to 32GB1 of internal Flash memory. An “Exmor R” CMOS sensor delivers exceptional low-light performance, while Optical SteadyShot image stabilization with Active Mode and 3-way Shake Canceling lets you capture remarkably smooth handheld video from wide angle to full telephoto shooting.

Better Shots in Low Light

Experience stunning low-light sensitivity with improved image clarity and drastically reduced grain with the newly developed, back-illuminated “Exmor R” CMOS sensor. Designed specifically for compact cameras and camcorders, the “Exmor R” CMOS sensor is designed to let you shoot video in lower lighting conditions with better results.

Say Goodbye to Camera Shake

Shooting without a tripod can often lead to wobbly videos. Optical SteadyShot™ image stabilization with Active Mode compensates for greater degrees of camera shake to deliver stunningly smooth video from wide angle to full telephoto shooting. In addition, innovative 3-Way Shake-Canceling adds electronic roll stability for even smoother video capture.

Superior Optical Performance

Experience the pinnacle of Sony® lens technology with the professional-quality G Lens. Engineered for superior optical performance, Sony G lenses deliver brilliant, accurate color reproduction and sharp, amazingly detailed images. In addition, a short, 27.4mm focal length offers a broader perspective for enhanced wide angle shooting.
