The White House Gets an HD Radio
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs mentioned he doesn’t even own a radio so the HD Digital Radio Alliance sent one over to the White House — a Sony XDR-S10HDiP with iTunes Tagging and iPod dock. E-Gear

Comcast goes wideband

Pinocchio coming on Blu-ray
Walt Disney studios will release Pinocchio in hi-def along with a fresh approach to those black bars that frame traditional formatted films. The Blu-ray version of “Pinocchio” being released on Mar. 10 will have decorative bars instead of plain black. Video Business
