Sky satellite network of the UK is planning to add Sky Sports HD 3, Sky Movies Premiere HD and FX HD througout March and April. Apparently the channels will not be 24-hours, running at start from 7pm to 2am. Some planned programming includes the European Tour golf tour and an HD screening of Titanic.
Stephen van Rooyen, Sky’s director of product management said, “When these new channels are added to our existing HD line-up, our customers will be able to enjoy over 6,500 hours of must-see HD programming each month.
He added, “We’re committed to investing in the HD programmes and channels that matter to our customers. The addition of FX, Sky Sports 3 and Sky Movies Premiere will ensure that we continue to deliver quality HD content which appeals to the whole family.”
