CBS Corporation and Australian streaming service Stan have announced a long-term deal to bring Showtime original series and programming to the continent.

The Showtime access includes hundreds of hours of content and originals such as House of Lies, The Affair, Penny Dreadful, Ray Donovan, Dexter, and Californication, as well as future series from the network.

CBS and The CW programs including Madam Secretary, Limitless, Under the Dome, Extant, and Beauty and the Beast will also be available, and, every episode of the Star Trek TV series will be available on demand on multiple platforms.

Stan, a joint venture between Nine Entertainment Co. and Fairfax Media, boasts almost 700,000 SVOD subscriptions and over 1.5 million Australian viewers since launching in January, 2015.

“The growth of SVOD services internationally has created a huge demand for premium content globally,” said Armando Nunez, President and CEO of the CBS Global Distribution Group.

The exclusive deal also makes Stan the “official home” of Showtime in Australia.
