High Definition on YouTube?

What I find fascinating is that the crappy quality of YouTube content is luring what, like 1billion page views this year alone? I think back in June they were up to 20million unique users…and growing steadily. But what about the quality?

People are shooting with consumer quality HD cameras and posting on YouTube. It just goes to show that content is king these days, and that no matter how sharp and beautiful the HD experience is, if the content sucks, people are just not going to watch.

Take for instance the below video:

This video has had 1,500 views in 3 months, and there is no content. It just has the keyword HD. HD is not going to make it’s expected growth this year. Why? Late product releases. High prices. Lack of interest in HD in the consumer market?
