First ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’ trailer released

Here it is, the first look at what will be the biggest selling game of the year when it releases 11-13-12. This first trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 shows St. Frank Woods from the first game now as a weathered old coot bemoaning the fact that technology keeps trying to trump man's fighting spirit. Anyone else getting some very heavy Metal Gear Solid 4 vibes from this?

‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’ revealed, set in near future

A few hours before Activision wanted to go public with it, the news has leaked about the next Call of Duty game. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 appears set for a November 13 release, and despite the first game taking place in the 1960s, the sequel will find the warfare has moved to the future. The early info came from the game’s UK site, which has now been swamped, but the full reveal will take place tonight with a trailer during the NBA playoffs.

‘Mass Effect 3’ is $29.99 at Amazon today

The final (possibly) chapter in the Commander Sheppard's great space saga can be yours today for 50% off. As Amazon's Gold Box Deal of the Day, Mass Effect 3 for Xbox 360, PS3, or Windows is going for just $29.99 through midnight Pacific time. It's a great deal for a game that was just released in March and was the #1 selling game that month. Of course the game's infamous ending has upset many people, but we're not about to spoil that for you.

‘Far Cry 3’ gameplay trailer delivers oodles of drugs and death

The latest Far Cry 3 trailer features more drugs and death than a Grateful Dead concert in a piranha pool. Yes, that's a Grateful Dead reference you just read. Looking at the trailer, it appears mushrooms of some sort are on the menu here for the protagonist, and yes, just as in real life, they do make killing blood-thirsty mercenaries more difficult. The game is set for a Sepetmber 4th release.
