Today’s Blu-ray Disc releases, (about 25 in total) include some must-haves for your hi-def library. Why “must” you have them? We generally rate a film or TV show a “must-have” if the title A: Looks great in high-definition, and B: Has great content to go with the high quality.
A few titles we suggest are “Smallville: The Complete Eighth Season” (Tom Welling, Erica Durance), “The Informers” (Kim Basinger, Billy Bob Thornton, Mickey Rourke) and “Water Life” (Cin-TV – available as a 3-disc set or single discs).
There are also quite a few theatrical and musical releases this week. Some of those titles include “Gershwin: Rhapsody in Blue – Music Experience in 3-Dimensional Sound Reality,” “La Forza del Destino,” and “Michelangelo Buonarroti: Arts and Music Expressions Series.”
