A few of the hottest TV shows were recently announced for Blu-ray release, and you can guarantee they will be worthy of displaying on your HDTV. ’24: Season Seven’, ‘Lost: The Complete Fifth Season’, and ‘Dollhouse: Season One’ were all announced and available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
From 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, ’24: Season Seven’ will hit the streets May 19th. The six-disc set will be formatted 1080p video with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. All discs include Director and Producer commentaries and the final disc features over a dozen deleted scenes,
Also from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is ‘Dollhouse: Season One’ set for release on July 28th. The three-disc set will include the season’s 13 episodes and the un-aired pilot. The discs will be formatted in 1080p video with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Extras will include commentaries, deleted scenes, and making-of featurettes.
Way out there on December 8th Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced they will release ‘Lost: The Complete Fifth Season’ on Blu-ray. No specifics on format yet but word is the discs will include commentaries, interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
