We’ve been kind of absorbed in AI discussions these days so it’s kind of fitting that Stephen Spielberg’s A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) will get a 4k remaster this year. The release arrives on Dec. 15, 2026, which is slightly late to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of film’s premiere in the summer of 2001, but year-on regardless.
On 4k Blu-ray, A.I. Artificial Intelligence is presented in 2160p resolution with both Dolby Vision and HDR10. The soundtrack is offered DTS-HD Master Audio 6.1 channels, as well as 5.1 channels in French and Spanish.
Legacy bonus features include Creating A.I., Designing A.I., Lighting A.I., A.I./FX, The Robots of A.I., Special Effects and Animation, The Sound and Music of A.I., Closing: Steven Spielberg: Our Responsibility to Artificial Intelligence, A.I. Archives, plus two theatrical trailers.
A.I. Artificial Intelligence 2-disc/digital 4k SteelBook is list priced $39.99. Buy on Amazon (Includes Pre-order Price Guarantee).
