Panasonic’s newest 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray player (MSRP: $499) has been marked down to $449 at both Amazon and Best Buy. The DP-UB820-K supports both HDR10/HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, as well as HLG high dynamic range formats for improved color luminance. For audio, 192-kHz/32-bit 4-DAC quality with Dolby Digital & DTS decoding is supported, and twin HDMI to separate audio and video signals for higher quality playback. In addition, the P-UB820-K supports voice commands via Alexa. Not every retailer has marked down the player though. B&H Photo and Panasonic’s own shop still have the unit priced $499.
