We’ve compiled the poll results for The Best 4k Blu-ray Releases until Mid-2019. Voters could choose among 25 titles that were released between January and June of this year.
We have to agree with the poll takers. With 25% of the total votes, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of the most fun, entertaining and well-written movies of last year. Not to mention it looks and sounds great in 4k with HDR10 and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
In second place with 15% of the votes is DC’s Aquaman. If you’ve already seen the movie you know how impressive the visual effects are. At home, on a 4k TV with HDR, Aquaman is about as good as it gets in home theaters.
And, in third place with 13% of the votes is Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down. While we were not so impressed with the 4k transfer, this is one of the great war movies of this century and even better in 2160p.
Here are the rest of the results.
