AT&T is expanding its 100% fiber network with the addition of 12 more metropolitan areas, which will bring the count up to 84 metro areas served. The new markets include Amarillo, TX; Bowling Green, KY; Northeast MS; Gainesville, FL; and Pensacola, FL to name a few.
AT&T Fiber starts at $50 per month (Internet 100), with a mid-tier plan that costs $70 per month (Internet 300) and top tier plan that is priced $90 per month (Internet 1000). The Internet 1000 plan boasts speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second, with upload speed 2-times faster than typical cable broadband.
The “Powered by AT&T Fiber” is now available in parts of:
- Amarillo, Texas
- Beaumont, Texas
- Bowling Green, Ky.
- Florence, S.C.
- Gainesville, Fla.
- Hattiesburg, Mss.
- Lake Charles, La.
- Northeast Miss.
- Panama City, Fla.
- Pensacola, Fla.
- Topeka, Kan.
- Waco, Texas
