Roku announced on their blog they are now shipping new wireless speakers for Roku TV, each designed with one .75” high-frequency driver (tweeter) and one 3.5” low-frequency driver (woofer).
The speakers weigh 4 pounds each and measure 7.7″ high x 4.9″ wide x 4.9″ deep. They can be networked with 802.11ac dual-band wireless or Bluetooth, and Roku boasts the exclusive speakers’ easy synchronization with Roku TV.
The speakers are not completely wireless, however, as you have to have power them through a cord. Along with two speakers the product includes a Roku TV Voice Remote, Roku Touch tabletop remote, two power cables, and four AAA batteries
The Roku TV speakers are list-priced $199.99 but selling for $149.99 until Nov. 26 on the Roku website.
