Universal Pictures has released several clips from “First Man” to promote the premiere of the film on Friday, October 12, 2018.
In one clip Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin answer questions before the moon mission that led Armstrong to become the first man to walk on the Moon. In other clip Janet Armstrong confronts Deke Slayton about shutting off communications with Armstrong. A third clip captures Neil Armstrong explaining why he thinks space exploration is so important. And in the fourth clip Neil Armstrong crashes the lunar training vehicle while training on Earth.
Directed by Damien Chazelle, the film stars Ryan Gosling, Corey Stoll and Claire Foy. Josh Singer wrote screenplay for “First Man” based on the book written by James R. Hansen.
