Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release Pacific Rim Uprising to Blu-ray, 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, June 19th. The film will likely be released early to digital formats on either on June 7th or 12th.
Pacific Rim Uprising is presented in 1080p (Blu-ray) and 2160p (Ultra HD Blu-ray) at 2.40:1 widescreen aspect ratio. The UHD BD also includes HDR color in both Dolby Vision and HDR10. The English soundrack is offered in Dolby Atmos backed by Dolby TrueHD 7.1, with French language in Dolby Digital 5.1 and Spanish in Dolby Digital Plus 7.1.
Each Blu-ray combo edition comes with a second predecessor disc (either DVD or Blu-ray), and a Digital Copy can be obtained from Movies Anywhere with a code provided in the disc packaging.
Bonus features on both Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray editions include deleted scenes with commentary by Director Steven DeKnight and 5 featurettes among other extras. As a plus, the bonus features on the Ultra HD Blu-ray edition are presented in 4k!
