2-time Oscar-winning film Darkest Hour starring Gary Oldman is now available to pre-order on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray. Previously released to Blu-ray, Digital and DVD, we were hoping for a 4k release of the film that’s sure to look wonderful given the Oscar-nominated cinematography from Bruno Delbonnel.
Darkest Hour on Ultra HD Blu-ray is presented in 2160p at 1.85:1 with High Dynamic Range color on TVs that support HDR10. Like the Blu-ray, the soundtrack is provided in Dolby Atmos with subtitles in English SDH, French and Spanish.
The 2-disc combo edition from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment packages a Blu-ray Disc copy and code for a Digital copy that can be redeemed with Movies Anywhere.
Extra bonus features on the Blu-ray include the featurettes Into Darkest Hour and Gary Oldman: Becoming Churchill, as well as feature commentary with Director Joe Wright.
Darkest Hour on Ultra HD Blu-ray has an MSRP of $37.99 but is currently available to pre-order for $27.96. See most recent pricing below.
