HBO surprised everyone during Super Bowl LII with the first official trailer for their much-anticipated second season of Westworld. Premiering on April 22, the second season consists of ten episodes starting with Episode 1 titled “Journey into Night.”
From the trailer, it looks like season two will bring a revolution from the synthetics that populate the world, with both Thandie Newton’s and Evan Rachel Wood’s characters playing major roles in the rebellion.
Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright), Teddy Flood (James Marsden) and the Man in Black (Ed Harris) are among the other characters returning to Season 2 of Westworld. But will any of them be killed off this season as was Theresa Cullen (Sidse Babett Knudsen) and Anthony Hopkins’ character Dr. Robert Ford?
