FX’s Legion Season 1 Headed For Blu-ray & DVD Release

legion-season-1-blu-ray-688pxCreated in association with Marvel Television, the FX Original Series Legion will be released to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on Tuesday, March 27.  The series is already available in digital formats from services such as Amazon, Google Play, and iTunes for $2.99 per episode in HD (or $19.99 for the entire season).

Along with all eight episodes from Season 1 (and a runtime of 409 minutes), the Blu-ray and DVD editions feature deleted scenes, the bonus “Fractured Reality: A Different Kind of Hero,” and seven featurettes (see details below).

On Blu-ray, Legion is formatted in 1080p at 1.78:1 aspect ratio. The audio is provided in English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, as well as Spanish Dolby Digital 2.0 and French DTS 5.1.

Based on the based on the Marvel Comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, Legion follows the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens) — a troubled young man who may be more than human. The series also stars Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, and Rachel Keller.
