“The truth must be taken.”

It’s yet another Marvel / Netflix collaboration, and another series presented in 2160p with High Dynamic Range (HDR). Marvel’s The Punisher is now streaming its full first season consisting of thirteen episodes.

4k and HDR are, of course, only available on TVs that support the advanced video specifications, but this series is worth watching in any resolution. The series is also available to download from Netflix to mobile phones and tablets for viewing later while offline.

Marvel’s The Punisher stars Jon Bernthal as Marine Corp. veteran Frank Castle (aka The Punisher). After his family is killed, Castle avenges them but is forever haunted by their loss.

The character was created by writer Gerry Conway and artists John Romita Sr. and Ross Andru under the direction of Stan Lee for Marvel Comics. The Punisher made his first appearance in “The Amazing Spider-Man” #129 published in February, 1974.
