Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release date and details for the action/comedy American Made. The film will release to Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD on January 9, 2018, preceded by digital formats for purchase on Dec. 19, 2017.
On Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray American Made is presented at 1.85:1 widescreen resolution with an English soundtrack in DTS:X Immersive Audio (as well as DTS Headphone:X). The Ultra HD Blu-ray edition features 2160p resolution with HDR color via the HDR10 specification.
Bonus features include deleted scenes, a conversation between Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman, and several featurettes.
The 2-disc Blu-ray combo from UPHE includes a second DVD disc copy, while the 4k Blu-ray edition includes a Blu-ray copy.
The Blu-ray editions also include a code to redeem the movie digitally through the new “Movies Anywhere” app, which allows streaming or downloading of titles.
American Made on Blu-ray carries an MSRP of $34.99 but pre-orders are selling for $26.72 on Amazon. Pre-orders of the 4k Blu-ray combo are selling for $38.46. See below for most recent Amazon pricing.
