Sigmund and the Sea Monsters reboot now Streaming on Amazon Prime

The reboot of the 1970’s TV show Sigmund and the Sea Monsters is now available to stream free on Amazon Video for Prime subscribers.

Directed by Ron Oliver, the series revolves around the story of two brothers, Johnny (Solomon Stewart) and Scotty (Kyle Breitkopf) who find the sea monster Sigmund while beachcoming. They take in the monster, hiding him from adults in their clubhouse.

Sigmund and the Sea Monsters is executive produced by Sid and Marty Krofft (creators of Land of the Lost and H.R. Pufnstuf) and Stephen Engel (The Big Bang Theory). The series also features a cover of the original theme song “Friends” performed by Grammy-winning musical group The Roots.

The show also stars David Arquette as Captain Barnabas, Rebecca Bloom as Robyn, and Eileen O’Connell as Aunt Maxine.
