Michael Bay’s Transformers: The Last Knight has been slated for release on Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray on Sept. 26, while the film will release early to digital formats on Sept. 12.
Three different Blu-ray editions of Transformers: The Last Knight are coming your way, so choose your poison. There’s a 3-disc Blu-ray, 3-disc 3D Blu-ray, and 3-disc 4k Blu-ray version. Each comes with a preceding disc copy (either a DVD or Blu-ray), and includes a bonus disc with over 80 minutes of behind-the-scenes content and interviews. (Note: some sources are detailing the Blu-ray edition with only two discs, but we’re betting all three versions have the bonus disc).
Bonus content includes the featurettes “Merging Mythologies,” “Climbing the Ranks,” and “Alien Landscape: Cybertron,” among others. And, each Blu-ray edition comes with a digital copy (hopefully the code included in the 4k Blu-ray edition will redeem a Digital UHD copy).
The soundtrack to Transformers: The Last Knight is provided in English Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1. As far as video, the Ultra HD Blu-ray edition features 2160p resolution with High Dynamic Range (HDR) color, four-times the pixels as conventional 1080p Blu-ray.
Transformers: The Last Knight is selling for $19.99 (Blu-ray), $26.99 (3D Blu-ray), and $26.99 (4k Ultra HD Blu-ray). See product grid below for updated pricing.
Best Buy, Target, and Walmart will each be issuing their own exclusive editions of Transformers: The Last Knight.
