When the MLB resumes its regular games after the All-Star break on Friday, July 14th, DirecTV will begin offering a free one-week preview of MLB Extra Innings.
There are a total of 15 games on Friday, 15 games on Saturday, and 15 games on Sunday with classic weekend matchups including the Red Sox against the Yankees, Texas versus Baltimore, and San Francisco hosting Cleveland.
MLB Extra Innings gives subscribers up to 80 out-of-market games per week, the mosaic channel where you can watch previews of each channel all at once, and free access online with MLB.tv.
Extra Innings can be found on DirecTV channels 719 to 749, and the free preview will run until July 20th.
As with previous seasons, MLB Extra Innings can be purchased at the half-way mark for half the price at $120. The subscription fee can be paid in four installments.
The service is currently running a promotion where customers can sign up for a Gillette On Demand subscription and get MLB.TV Premium free for the rest of the 2017 season.
