In the zombie genre, other shows pale in comparison to The Walking Dead. The series has a dedicated fan base, much of it originating from the long-running comic book series, but also from AMC’s hit show that premieres its eighth season in October.
To get yourself psyched for the upcoming season, and maybe catch some details you may have missed in previous episodes, AMC/Anchor Bay are releasing The Walking Dead Season 7 to Blu-ray Disc on August 22. The 5-disc set will contain all 16 episodes of the season, along with bonus materials such as audio commentaries, deleted scenes, and nine featurettes (see details below).
Like previous seasons, The Walking Dead Season 7 will likely be presented in 1.78:1 aspect ratio at 1080p resolution, backed by a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 soundtrack.
The first four discs contain the season’s episodes, while the fifth disc will feature the bonus content. An insert contains a redemption code for digital copies of the season.
The Walking Dead Season 7 carries a suggested retail price of $80.99, but is available to pre-order from Amazon for $54.85. Best Buy is selling pre-orders of the Season 7 compilation for $54.99.
