Stephen King, J.J. Abrams’ ‘Castle Rock’ Teaser Trailer Released

castle-rock-titleBad Robot Productions has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Hulu Original “Castle Rock.” There isn’t much given away in the teaser, but we do know the production (whether a film, mini-series, or series) comes “From the World of Stephen King” and Executive Producer Stephen King

The text-based teaser doesn’t give much away in terms of the premise of the venture, but we do see references to King’s former creations like The Shawshank Redemption and The Shining (in the form of the character Danny Torrance). The title “Castle Rock” also comes from King’s fictional stories such as Cujo and Needful Things.

Will King be writing a series in which his world’s collide? Or will it be an entirely new project that draws upon characters and concepts from the past? We can only wait and see what King and Abrams have planned.

The two recently partnered on the series 11.22.63 also produced for Hulu.
