Paramount Home Media has revealed the release dates for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back on Digital HD, Blu-ray Disc, and DVD. Th film will first be available digitally on Tuesday, January 17th, followed by disc formats and On Demand two weeks later on January 31st. This includes a 4k release of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back to Ultra HD Blu-ray — a new disc format that delivers 4-times the resolution of Blu-ray.
The Blu-ray combo editions from Paramount include plenty of extras adding up to over 80 minutes of content, such as interviews with cast and crew, a deeper look at the action-packed rooftop battle, documentation of filming on location in Louisiana, and other featurettes listed below. (Sorry folks, but it looks like the DVD edition only comes with the feature film.)
In addition, for a limited time those who purchase the Blu-ray Combo Pack will get an exclusive illustrated version of Lee Child’s short story “Everyone Talks.”
The Ultra HD Blu-ray edition features 2160p video with High Dynamic Range (HDR) color. Both the Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray editions feature audio soundtracks in Dolby Atmos. And, both Blu-ray combo packs include Digital HD copies of the film redeemable with UltraViolet.
In Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Tom Cruise returns as Jack Reacher, the iconic character created by author Lee Child who is accused of crime that happened nearly 20 years ago.
Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is currently priced at $24.99 (Blu-ray), $29.99 (Ultra HD Blu-ray), and $19.99 (DVD).
