Ice Age: Collision Course just hit movie theaters last week, but right now those who pre-order the film from Vudu can get a complimentary digital copy of Ice Age (2002). The original franchise film typically sells for $13.99 from Vudu in either SD (480p), HD (720p), and HDX (1080p), making this an especially nice offer from the Walmart-owned video service.
Vudu is taking pre-orders of Ice Age: Collision Course for $14.99 (SD/HD/HDX), but the Ice Age bonus is only available for a limited time. (The company didn’t indicate how long the offer would last.)
Competing digital movie services iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon are also taking pre-orders of Ice Age: Collision Course, but while Apple and Google are matching Vudu’s price, Amazon is selling the HD version for $5 more at $19.99 — very untypical of the online superstore.
Ice Age: Collision Course is expected to be released to digital on December 31, 2016.
