Golf.com published this video on their YouTube channel of a giant alligator taking a stroll near the third hole at the Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Palmetto, Florida. But the video looks more like a Japanese monster film (Godzilla, Mothra, etc.) than the real deal. Even the person recording suggests it’s two guys in an alligator costume.
But the gator is about as real as you can get, and surely an attraction for brave golfers who may want to get a sight of the monster. At over 13 million views already, the video (credited to Charlie Helms) may be the best advertisement Buffalo Creek could buy.
The most absurd part of the footage may be the guy recording who says “Get next to it for perspective.” Are you kidding me?
