‘Assassin’s Creed’ First Movie Trailer Debuts on Jimmy Kimmel Live

assasins-creed-trailer-still-1Ubisoft Motion Pictures has released the first official trailer for the movie Assassin’s Creed, making its world premiere debut last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The trailer is already receiving rave reviews from the likes of Forbes who called it “Mercifully Excellent,”

The film stars Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch (Aguilar), along with Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Jeremy Irons. Justin Kurzel is directing Assassin’s Creed based on the popular video game franchise from Ubisoft that started in 2007.

20th Century Fox will handle distribution of the film in the US and other countries when it releases on December 21st, 2016.
