Sony Pictures has released the first official trailer for The Magnificent Seven starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt. The MGM/Columbia Pictures production was directed by Antoine Fuqua (Olympus Has Fallen, Shooter) and based on the screenplay by famous Japanese director Akira Kurosawa (Seven Samurai, Ran, Rashomon).The Magnificent Seven brings Fuqua and Washington together in yet another film; the two worked together on The Equalizer (2014) and the Oscar-winning film Training Day (2001). The Magnificent Seven also stars Haley Bennett, Vincent D’Onofrio and Ethan Hawke. The film is slated for release to theaters in the US on September 16, 2016.
