The Instagram app for iOS users was just updated this week, with several new features including support for 3D touch on iPhone 6s. In addition, some Instagram users are reporting the ability to add multiple user accounts in profiles — a feature that has been at the top of the list for Apple device users especially after the feature has been rolling out for Android users since last November.
Check your Instagram app, as you may already have the feature and not know it. Just to go to Settings and see if there is an “Add Account” option.
The app update for iOS devices, Version 7.15, was released with improvements to speed and usability on all devices. However, most of the updates appear to be for 3D Touch.
From the Form Feed, users can 3D Touch a profile or hashtag to see a preview of recent posts. Shortcuts on the iPhone 6s can now be accessed by using 3D Touch on the Instagram icon and jumping directly to Instagram actions such as create a new post or view direct messages.
And, when looking at the grid view in Instagram iPhone 6s users can tap and hold a post to expand it.
Am I the only Android user to still not have this feature?! Bummer!! Well at least I still save time with younity while I waste time switching accounts lol
