The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is scheduled to release to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on March 22, 2016, and along with the standard Blu-ray edition retailers have partnered with Lionsgate to offer exclusive editions not found anywhere else.
Best Buy is one of those retailers, with an exclusive SteelBook package design showing the characters Peeta Mellark, Gale Hawthorne, and Katniss Everdeen. The “Only @ Best Buy” edition is currently available to pre-order for $26.99, and comes with 5 hours of bonus content (from the standard Blu-ray release) as well as a Digital HD copy redeemable with iTunes or UltraViolet. Supplies are limited. Price: $26.99.
Target also has an exclusive Blu-ray edition of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 with a nice alternative package that features Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen. The edition includes a Bonus Disc with 45 minutes of content (in addition to the 5 hours of bonus content included with the standard release) as well as a bonus fabric movie banner and digital copies. The standard issue Blu-ray edition of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is two-disc combo with iTunes or UV Digital HD copy and 5 hours of bonus content.
