The two-time Oscar-nominated feature film Steve Jobs from Universal Pictures will be released early to Digital HD — two weeks ahead of Blu-ray and DVD. The digital version arrives on on Tuesday, February 2nd and is priced at $14.99 from most online video services including Amazon Video, Apple iTunes, and Walmart’s Vudu.
Some video services are offering bonus material with the digital purchase, but not all. Vudu and iTunes (iTunes Extras) will come with the 45-minute bonus content “Inside Steve Jobs” with three parts that explore the making of the film.
Purchases elsewhere only include the film itself (at least at the time of researching for this article), so if you enjoy bonus material wait for the Blu-ray and DVD editions of Steve Jobs on Feb. 16, 2016 which will also include a digital copy.
Based on the life Apple founder Steve Jobs, the film stars Michael Fassbender (Inglourious Basterds, 12 Years a Slave), Kate Winslet (The Reader, Titanic), Seth Rogen (Neighbors, This is the End) and Jeff Daniels (“The Newsroom,” The Martian).
