smithsonian-channel-logo-lrg-clrDish Network has added the long-awaited Smithsonian Channel in both SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) resolution on channel 367. The network is available in Dish’s “America’s Top 250” service package that includes over 290 channels to choose from.

Smithsonian Channel is a joint venture between Showtime Networks and the Smithsonian Institution. The channel offers a variety of programming on topics that include air and space, history, science, nature, and pop culture.

As well as on Dish Network, the channel is available streaming on the PlayStation Vue service, through app channels on Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV, and through the Smithsonian Channel apps for supporting internet-connected devices.

Smithsonian Channel can also be found on DirecTV, Time Warner Cable, Verizion FiOS, AT&T U-verse, and most other major television service providers.
