iTunes Deal features ‘Alien’ Digital HD for only $5.99

alien-posterThe classic 1979 sci-fi thriller Alien is just $5.99 today in Digital HD from Apple iTunes. At a total run time of 117 minutes, the Ridley Scott-directed film was revolutionary for its time, and is still considered one of the best movies of its genre.

Alien on iTunes is typically $14.99, making this a $9 discount at just $5.99 for today only.

The Full HD 1080p file from iTunes is a 4.62GB download, while the smaller 720p version can be streamed or downloaded.

Keep in mind iTunes is running on Eastern Time, so Midnight ET is when the deal expires.

Note that Digital HD copies of Alien weren’t available when the Aliens Anthology Blu-ray released in 2010.
