The Weather Channel app for Apple Watch, iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices has been updated with quite a few new features that we think are well worth mentioning.

Among the new features is a Dynamic Home Screen that changes based on your current location, weather, and time of day. In addition, 15-day forecasts have been added, as well as Flu and Pollen reports for levels in your area.

A morning show called “The Lift” will be available weekdays from 6-11 a.m., providing breaking weather news, science topics, and nature footage presented by weather celebs Al Roker, Ari Sarsalari, and Domenica Davis.

Finally, for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s+ with 3D touch functionality, the Weather Channel app has added Apple “Quick Actions” that show users a “surprise” when the Weather Channel app icon is pressed deeply.

For those of you who want to get rid of the ads, the app is also now offering an ad-free option that costs $3.99 per year.
