The premiere of Fear the Walking Dead will air this Sunday, August 23rd, and in anticipation AMC has uploaded the first 3-minutes of the pilot episode. AMC originally posted the video exclusively on Facebook, but has since uploaded the opening scene to YouTube.
Fear the Walking Dead is directed by Adam Davidson and stars Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Cliff Curtis, and Mercedes Mason. The series was created and co-written by Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman, and can be called a “companion series” to the popular AMC show The Walking Dead.
So far, six 60-minute episodes of Fear the Walking Dead are slated through Sunday, September 27th. The show airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT, 8 p.m. Central Time.
