Sling TV has launched two new “Latino” add-on packs with mostly Spanish-language programming. The first pack, named “Deportes Extra,” features six sports channels with a focus on international soccer. The pack includes beIN Sports in both Spanish and English — the network that holds rights to US broadcast rights of La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and the Copa del Rey competition among other tournaments. The pack also includes Azteca, Univision, Univision Deportes, and UniMás.
The second added pack, named “Películas & Novelas Extra,” features eight Spanish-language movie and telenovela channels such as Cinelatino, Az Corazón, as well as both Univision and Univision Deportes featured in the “Deportes Extra” pack.
The add-on channel packs cost $5 per month each, on top of the $20 per month Sling TV base package, and include access to some Video-On-Demand (VOD) content.

Sling TV was launched in January 2015 and offers over-the-top (OTT) television service starting at $20 per month. The Dish-owned service does not require long-term contracts, and recently launched access to HBO Now, HBO’s own OTT service that costs an extra $15 per month on top of the base service.
