Warner Bros. Pictures has uploaded a 30-second TV spot to YouTube for the soon-to-be-released action thriller San Andreas. Several trailers for the film are already out there, and anyone who has been to the theater recently will no doubt have seen the extended trailer. But this shorter TV spot seems to encapsulate the film much more efficiently, and reveals some of the amazing effects work the film has in store.
Produced by New Line Cinema and Village Roadshow Pictures, San Andreas will arrive in theaters, including RealD 3D theaters, on May 29, 2015. The film was directed by Brad Peyton (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island), and stars Dwayne Johnson, Alexandra Daddario, and Carla Gugino.
“After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter. But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.”
