When Paramount Home Media announced the Blu-ray release of Interstellar back in January, they promised a limited quantity of Blu-ray combo editions would include a collectible IMAX film cell from a 70mm print of the film. While those editions were sold-out online at both Best Buy and Walmart, the editions have shown up today in limited quantities in stores.
Best Buy has the “Only @ Best Buy” edition with IMAX film cell on sale for $19,99 (see pic on right), while Walmart has their edition with IMAX film cell and VUDU sticker on sale for $18.96 (shown below). [Update: Target also has a Steelbook edition with the IMAX film cell.]
Walmart’s Collectible Gift Set (also sold-out online) is available in limited quantities in stores. The two-pack is on sale for $22.96 (see bottom pic).
The limited edition Interstellar combo edition with IMAX film cell may be available at other stores, but we can only confirm Best Buy, Target and Walmart. If you’ve found it elsewhere, please let us know in the comments below.
