FX to premiere ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ tonight at 10pm


FX will premiere season four of American Horror Story with the sub-title Freak Show starting tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Episode one of the new season, titled “Monsters Among Us,” will set the stage for the series that’s based on a freak show in the early 50’s. American Horror Story: Freak Show was directed by Ryan Murphy, who created the show with Brad Falchuk.

Characters on the show include ring leader Elsa Mars played by Jessica Lange, the bearded lady Ethel Darling played by Kathy Bates, the claw-handed Jimmy Darling played by Evan Peters, the strongman Wendell ‘Dell’ Toledo played by Michael Chiklis, the three-breasted woman Desiree played by Angela Bassett, and conjoined twins Dot & Bette played (twice) by Sarah Paulson, among the cast members.
