Verizon FiOS TV customers who use the FiOS Mobile App now have 10 additional channels to choose from. Today the company announced networks such as FOX Sports 1, Showtime Family Zone, and Starz Kids & Family HD are now available for viewing on the go .
There is a slight catch though. While the app is built for roaming around town with your mobile device, several of the channels will only be available in-home. That means, for now at least, channels such as FOX Sports 1 and HBO Latino HD will only be mobile as far as your wireless network will reach.
The additions bring the total number of live out-of-home channels available on the FiOS Mobile App to 58, and the live in-home channels to 150, plus local channels in certain markets.
The FiOS Mobile app is available for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, as well as Kindle Fire tablets.
